Ojinjinka is the Lakota name for Rose, a little nod to the origins of the Tipi (Thipi).
Please check out The Cheyenne River Youth Project watch their informative videos, and have a look at the wonderful work that they're doing. Every time that Ojinjinka is hired out I'm going to donate 5% of my profit to this charity. Keep an eye on my blog for an individual blog post about this.
Our 12 metre x 12 metre (40ft x 40ft) Traditional Pole Marquee in cream canvas
Capacity 120 people
Rustic Rose is our old girl. A vintage traditional canvas marquee. These are the type of marquees that have been used in England for hundreds of years. She has two wooden vertical King poles, and one horizontal one, and 50 wooden side poles. All of her wooden poles have been lovingly restored. I sanded each of the poles back and protected them in a beautiful warm brown. She was missing all of her wooden finials so I hand turned her 50 new ones on my lathe.
Assembly time for the structure alone is 5 hours, and take down time is 2-3 hours
